I am a front-end developer who loves social networking and finding trends in big data. I am a big fan of web devolpment and startup culture, and I hope to work in an industry that will help evolve the concept and importance of an internet presence.
For my senior project, I helped implement a syllabary-generation unit that has the goal of preserving the language of the Nottaway, a local Native American tribe. Utilizing Laravel, a PHP MVC framework, I was tasked with helping with front-end UI creation along with handling all of the Web Audio API calls.
As an E-Sports fan, I love statistics! Using Valve's web API, Sneef uses smart querying combined with robust search algorithms to find correlations and trends in gameplay data. Sneef Sneef hopes to integrate the Twitter API to faciliatate user login and help document the Twitter accounts of professional gamers.
I took a high-level AI course that greatly influenced my programming. I decided to use it to teach myself web-development skill via scientific programming! I implemented classical search algorithms in PHP and Javascript.
I worked for 5 years for Puplic Partnerships, LLC. as an attendant for children with special needs. I cared for a variety of children, and I was tasked with taking them out and helping them socialize in a way that is acceptable. Thanks to my experiences in PPL, I know how to interact with others in a way that is both professional and fitting.
In my free time, I like to pursue professional videogaming. I am familiar with and have all the hardware to stream my computer work. I am highly capable of common telecommunication tasks, such as managing audio and video for team meetings. I am also proficient with utilizing forum-style communication (such as Google Groups) for managing tasks with team members.
I am a big fan of the Maker movement! I love to tinker and build things, my computer is hand-assembled, I built my own 3d Printer, and I am working on a custom computer chair to make it more comfortable when I program. I also have a lot of experience with Audio hardware: I love collecting headphones, I have built my own guitar pedal, and I modify gameboys for creating music.
